The College Board and ACT have excellent websites with online registration and test date information.  This page is simply provided to assist you with navigating to the internet resources that you will find helpful.  They are here for your convenience without any financial benefit to The Wiz or the Mary Alice Scholarship Fund.  However, he spends a lot of time on the net cruising for information you will find helpful and these links are the best he has found.

As with all analogy questions, focus on how the two "stem" words relate.  Synchronize:Movements are related because movements are synchronized or coordinated by groups such as cheerleaders and dancers.  Reminds me of the name of the singing group "In Sync."  Which of the answers indicate a relationship where the first word is an indication of coordinating the second word?  Certainly it is only #5.

What do you do if you don't know what "synchronize" or other words mean? Start with the answers and see which ones can't be right.  Remember the two words have to have a SOC relationship (explained on the website).  That would eliminate answer #1.  Now take a look at the other answers and see if their relationships would even make sense.  For example, realizing your dreams mean you've achieved or reached them.  Could "synchronizing your movements" mean realizing or achieving them?  Obviously not, so it has to be a wrong answer!  Oftentimes, it is easy to eliminate answers to make you an "educated guesser."  Remember, once you eliminate only one answer you should guess at the rest.

The course is full of additional hints of this sort.  Try it for a month and see if they help you.  Don't forget to ask your parents for permission to use a credit card.
